Update (8/29): WE DID IT! NEW $6,500 GOAL!

Thanks to YOUR support we’ve reached our goal of $5,000 in less than 15 days! Your donations will allow us to visit a number of local high schools around Connecticut this Fall.  

We are going to increase our goal of $5,000 to $6,500 to fund costs for additional buses leading up to our big, (and expensive!) trip to Pennsylvania.

UNH Marching Band Team

The University of New Haven Chargers Marching Band, established in 2009, is known as one of the fastest growing collegiate marching band in the nation. The band started with only 20 members, but over the last seven years, we have exploded to nearly 250 members.  

This year, we are traveling across Connecticut and even to Pennsylvania to visit high schools. Due to our outstanding reputation, we are always asked to come perform!  When traveling, our 300 members plus equipment take up 5-6 buses!

Travel is one of our biggest expenses, and it limits the number of performances we can travel to per season.

Your donation will allow us to perform at many high schools, promote the University of New Haven and gain invaluable performing experience. Your contribution will aid the University of New Haven Chargers Marching Band as we start the next chapter of both our academic and band story.
