Update (4/4)- NEW $5,500 GOAL! 

First, a big thank you goes out to all of our alumni, family, friends and faculty/staff who have supported the University of New Haven Men’s Lacrosse program this year, in the past and in the future.

We have officially updated our goal for a THIRD time to $5,500. Additional funds will go towards the rest of the current season, conference travel, and next year’s season.

It’s been an exciting season so far and we are so happy you have been a part of it. We have secured a spot in the Pioneer Collegiate Lacrosse League’s Conference Playoffs. We are looking forward to ending the season on a strong note as we roll into the PCLL playoffs, hopefully ending in another trip to Brown University for the final four. Ultimately, our sights are set on the National Tournament in Orange, California.

Update (3/21)- We've Doubled Our Goal!

We’ve reached our goal of $1,500 to afford the Conference Playoffs in only six hours! Your donations will cover the team hosting one first round playoff match which includes officials, trainers, and equipment. We were also able to cover a bus trip to Brown University for all 40 student-athletes and staff!

We are going to double our goal of $1,500 to $3,000 to fund the other costs for additional games leading up to our Brown trip including balls, food for the team, and home game expenses.  Thank you again for all those who have donated and to those who have pledged to donate over the upcoming days. Hello from Kayo Field and the University of New Haven Men’s Lacrosse Team!

The first weekend of May marks a special time in the Charger Lacrosse calendar, as the PCLL Conference Championships are held at Brown. Last year, the University of New Haven was able to host its first ever home playoff game which resulted in a win and a trip to Brown University for the PCLL semi-finals.

While the majority of the team’s budget is subsidized from player dues, the support we receive from alumni and friends – people like you – is critical to preserving the tradition of life long success on and off the field. Home game officials, trainers, equipment and away game buses are a large expense. Please consider making a gift – of any amount – to help Men’s Lacrosse return to Brown for this year's shot at the PCLL Conference Championships! It was a great experience for the team last year and I can say first-hand that your support will make a difference!

In addition, pending our win at Conference Championships at Brown, we have the opportunity to travel for the National Tournament in Orange, CA! This will be an even larger financial goal for us and we love to make this experience possible for all 40 of our student-athletes.
