SUPPORT MEN’S LACROSSE!
Hello from Kathy Zolad Stadium and the University of New Haven Men’s Lacrosse Team!
Usually the last weekend in April marks a special time in the Charger Lacrosse calendar, as the PCLL Conference Championships are held. Last year, the University of New Haven reached the final season game for the first time since 2005, but ultimately fell to Central Connecticut. The 13-5 record, marked the best MCLA record in team history. This year, we are embarking on a spring break trip down to North Carolina, with contests against Appalachian State, UNC-Charlotte, and East Carolina University.
While the majority of the team’s budget is subsidized from player dues, the support we receive from alumni and friends – people like you – is critical to preserving the 49 year tradition of life long success on and off the field. Home game officials, trainers, equipment and away game buses are a large expense. Please consider making a gift – of any amount – to help Men’s Lacrosse fundraise for their spring break trip, and annual run for the Conference Championship!
The money raised from last year was put towards away game competitions buses and meals, new practice equipment, medical supplies, and a complete seven game Fall Ball schedule. Being part of this family is a great life long experience for each and every player and I can say first-hand that your support will make a difference!
