WNHU Station Updates 2018

Welcome to WNHU’s Fall 2018 Make It Happen Campaign!

This year, we have a leadership team of twelve dedicated students who are working hard to improve the station, one day at a time! We are raising money in order to afford three much needed improvements to WNHU.

The first is a new PA system for our promotional events. Our current PA system is very large and heavy which makes it difficult for us to transport to the events we DJ. In order to DJ more events with ease, a new PA system is needed.

The second improvement is a new dedicated streaming audio encoder. This is what allows you to listen to our station on the website. Our current way of doing this is through software on a computer that, if the power goes out, has to be rebooted and we lose the stream on the website. With a dedicated encoder, we would not have to worry about that.

The third improvement is an iMac studio with Protools, for podcasting and editing audio. This is something our students have been asking for and we have an office ready to be transformed. With this, we can start producing more high-quality podcasts and educating students in Protools.

You all helped us hit our goal and get the Zetta software in our last fundraiser, and we believe that with your support we can hit our goal again this year!
